Types of Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification
MOS 2007 - To earn the Microsoft Office Specialist certification for Office 2007, complete ONE exam per Specialist certification:
- Microsoft Office Access 2007
- Microsoft Office Excel 2007
- Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007
- Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
- Microsoft Office Word 2007
MOS 2007 Master - The Master distinction is comprised of four MOS certifications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
MOS 2010 - To earn the Microsoft Office Specialist (Core) certification, you must pass any one of the listed certification exams. Certification is offered at three levels:
SPECIALIST CERTIFICATION (CORE): complete ONE
exam per Specialist certification:
- Word 2010
- Excel 2010
- PowerPoint 2010
- Outlook 2010
- Access 2010
- SharePoint 2010
EXPERT CERTIFICATION: complete any ONE of the following exams:
- Word 2010 Expert
- Excel 2010 Expert
MASTER CERTIFICATION: complete ALL of the following:
- Word 2010 Expert
- Excel 2010 Expert
- PowerPoint 2010 Core
- Access 2010
- Outlook 2010
