Want a safe place for your kids to learn and have fun for a week?
Campus Linc will be providing fun and education for one week for kids ages 9-13. Our Digital Photography and Graphic Design camp will keep kids engaged in learning about how Art and Technology can be used together to create complex stories and learning how to manipulate photos.
Learn, Create and have Fun!
What will your child do for the week?
Participants will be introduced to Digital Photography and Graphic Design by using point and shoot digital cameras and Adobe Photoshop.
Students will be able to:
- Take multiple photos
- Upload their photos
- Manipulate their own photos using various Photoshop tools
- Create a design layout using various Photoshop tools
Participants will also be introduced to the design behind graphic novels and children's books by using Adobe Illustrator to illustrate their story.
Students will be able to:
- Create unique imagery and characters
- Trace various images using Illustrator Pen tools
- Manipulate imagery using various Illustrator tools
- Create complex stories and layouts
- Turn photos into illustrations to use in their stories
About our Camp Coordinator
Amy Fowler is a NYS Certified K-12 Art Educator with expertise in graphic design, photography, technology integration and traditional art mediums. She has also delivered Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign classes for the past three years at Campus Linc.
