Office Administrator Readiness Program
The Campus Linc Office Administrator Readiness Program consists of three distinct modules, all geared towards preparing you for the ever-increasing responsibilities of today's office staff.
Module 1 - Microsoft Office Training: Students will gain and master the foundation skills for the entire Microsoft Office suite. Each student will focus on working with Word and Excel spreadsheets. Students also learn the fundamentals of the Access database package and how databases are built and formatted. Finally, students will learn how to create and edit presentations using PowerPoint.
Module 2 - Workplace Processes: This module focuses on managing processes in the office by using various tools available in the workplace. Students will learn how to use all the functionality and tools inside Microsoft Outlook, including calendars, scheduling appointments, and creating reminders. Using Microsoft Project for managing resources and budgets will also be presented.
Module 3 - Customer Service and Office Management: The final module emphasizes the soft skills required to effectively interact with customers and vendors in person and over the phone. This module also instructs students on how to manage an office, organize activities, control deliveries, and balance the workload. Students will learn how to use QuickBooks to handle and account for revenue and expenses.
